Q1 2015 Results

Net Income: 137 million euro, +70%
Assets under administration: 69.7 billion euro, +18%
Total net inflows: 1,147 million euro
of which Mutual Funds: 1,261 million euro

The Board of Directors of Mediolanum S.p.A. met today in Basiglio (MI) and approved the Consolidated Interim Financial Statements as at March 31, 2015.

CONSOLIDATED GROUP RESULTS for the first quarter confirm the trend of the steady increase in the most important of the recurring revenues, management fees. Thanks to the strong mutual funds, the contribution coming from performance fees was particularly significant.

Therefore:

• Net Income was at 137.4 million euro, +70% with respect to the same period last year.
• Assets under Administration went up to 69,744 million euro, an increase of 18% with respect to March 31, 2014 and 8% with respect to the beginning of the year.
• The Common Equity Tier 1 Ratio was 18.5% as at March 31, 2015.

In more detail, with reference to Banca Mediolanum:

• Net Inflows were positive at 1,041 million euro overall, +21% compared to the same period last year. Net inflows into mutual funds (including those underlying Unit-Linked policies) deserve particular attention, totalling 1,192 million euro, +53% with respect to the same period last year.
• Total Retail Loans came to 5,605 million euro, a growth of 18% with respect to March 31, 2015. Net Non-performing Loans were equal to 0.7%.
• The number of Licensed Advisors came to a total of 4,384 as at March 31. 2015.
• There was a total of 1,091,247 Customers as at March 31. 2015.
• Current accounts and Deposit accounts reached a total of over 785,900 as at March 31, 2015.

Highlights in particular with respect to Banca Esperia:

• Net Income was at 4.8 million euro, largely unchanged with respect to the same period last year.
• Assets under Administration reached 17,958 million euro, an increase of 20% with respect to March 31, 2014 and 13% since the beginning of the year.

With reference to the Foreign Markets:

• Net Income in the Foreign Markets came to 0.7 million euro.
• Assets under Administration totalled 3,824 million euro, an increase of 32% with respect to March 31, 2014 and 10% since the beginning of the year.
