Press Release
"Time Travellers" debuts on Mediolanum Channel
A management school based on history
Mediolanum Channel, which broadcasts free-to-air on
SKY's
channel 803, will launch
"Time Travellers" at 8.45 pm on Friday 26 February. It is a program in which history becomes the business teacher.
The program is presented by journalist
Arnoldo Mosca Mondadori, who will prompt manager and passionate historian
Edoardo Lombardi to give an analysis of the great events of history from which we can draw tools for the creation of a successful company.
Broadcast from a set inspired by Jules Verne, each episode of the program will examine the mistakes, the opportunities, and the strokes of genius that led to great success in battle, and consider how these same elements may be reinterpreted for use in management.
Not just battles, but also stories about historical characters, decisions, products that changed the world for better or for worse, together with data sheets and suggested reading.
On the Italian television scene, this program from
Mediolanum Channel is a pleasant and very different change from the usual program.
The first episode of
"Time Travellers" will be aired at 8.45 pm on 26 February, and then every Thursday at the same time.
Edoardo Lombardi, Vice-Chairman of the Mediolanum Group and history enthusiast, has long been studying the possible connections between great social events and corporate strategy from the perspective of management training.
He is the author of Il disastro di Adua, published by Mursia.
