Banca Mediolanum presents “Send Money”, a service developed in conjunction with PayPal that lets you send money by e-mail address or mobile phone number
Banca Mediolanum and PayPal have developed the first service in Italy that will permit bank customers to send money easily and rapidly to a beneficiary identified by e-mail address or cell phone number.
This “
Mediolanum Send Money” service will be accessible through the Banca Mediolanum phone app, available for smartphones: iPhone, Android and soon Windows Phone.
Thanks to this collaboration, Banca Mediolanum customers will be the first in Italy to be able to transfer money directly from their current accounts:
Innovatively, since it is the first service of its kind in the Italian banking system;
Simply,
because to identify the beneficiary you need only pick an e-mail address or cell phone number from the contact list on your smartphone;
Instantly,
since the money is transferred to the beneficiary immediately;
Directly,
since the sender need not have opened a PayPal account beforehand;
Easily, because no additional passwords or user codes are required except those generally used by the customer for ordinary transactions.
