Net Income: 311 million euro
Assets under administration: 67 billion euro
Banca Mediolanum Net Inflows into Mutual Funds: 3,759 million euro
Common Equity Tier 1 Ratio: 18.80%
Interim dividend: 0.16 euro per share
The Board of Directors of Mediolanum S.p.A. met today in Basiglio (MI) and approved the Consolidated Interim Financial Statements as at September 30, 2015, as well as the Separate Financial Statements for Mediolanum S.p.A. as at the same date, and based on the latter, resolved to distribute an interim dividend of 16 eurocents per share before any withholding tax. The dividend will be payable November 25, 2015 (ex-dividend date November 23, 2015; coupon No. 31)*.
The CONSOLIDATED GROUP RESULTS for the first nine months once again demonstrate the sustainability of the business model and the validity of the investment strategy proposed to the customers: positive net inflows have largely compensated for the effects of the volatile financial markets in the third quarter.
As a result of the aforementioned:
- Consolidated Net Income was at 311.4 million euro for the first nine months +26% with respect to the same period last year.
- Total Assets under Administration totalled 66,959 million euro, an increase of 6% with respect to September 30, 2014 and 4% with respect to the beginning of the year.
- The Common Equity Tier 1 Ratio was 18.80% as at September 30, 2015, one of the highest among large Italian banks.
In more detail, with reference to Banca Mediolanum:
- Net Inflows were positive at 3,015 million euro overall, up slightly compared to the same period last year. Net inflows into mutual funds(including those underlying Unit-Linked policies) deserve particular attention, totalling 3,759 million euro, with an increase of 7%;
- The number of Licensed Advisors came to a total of 4,393 as at September 30, 2015;
- There was a total of 1,110,796 Customers as at September 30. 2015.
- Current accounts and Deposit accounts reached a total of over 817,400 as at September 30, 2015, with an increase of 7% with respect to the same date last year and 7% since the beginning of the year.
Highlights in particular with respect to Banca Esperia:
- Net Income was at 5.4 million euro, compared to 8.7 million euro for the same period in 2014.
- Assets under Administration reached 16,624 million euro (8,312 million for Mediolanum’s share), an increase of 4% with respect to September 30, 2014, +4% since the beginning of the year.
With reference to the Foreign Markets:
- Net Income came to 5.4 million euro;
- Assets under Administration totalled 3,779 million euro, an increase of 16% with respect to September 30, 2014 and 9% since the beginning of the year.
In an effort to provide more complete disclosure of the results as at September 30, 2015, we have attached the segment report detailing income statement data, reclassified to reflect the criteria used by the Mediolanum Group.
