Initiatives for customers and contractors in needBanca Mediolanum has supported a series of emergency relief efforts to help those affected by the natural disasters that have hit Italy in the past few years, such as: the earthquake in Abruzzi in 2009; floods in Veneto in 2010; flooding in Liguria, Tuscany and Sicily in 2011; the earthquake in Emilia Romagna, flooding in Central Italy, and earthquakes in Potenza and Cosenza, all in 2012; floods in Catania, Veneto, Tuscany and Sardinia in 2013; and earthquakes in the Lunigiana and Garfagnana regions, in 2013. Again in 2014, Banca Mediolanum continued to offer support to the people hit by the following natural disasters:
Banca Mediolanum allocated an initial sum of €1,300,000 to help the families of its customers and Family Bankers® that suffered financial loss and material damage to their family homes and contents, as well as to other property. Additionally, it offered the following assistance:
Regarding the donations to customers and Family Bankers® hit by natural disasters in previous years, 2014 saw a €114,400 non-repayable grant made to 39 customers in three payments, allocated as follows: - flooding in Catania: 4 customers for a total of €8,100 |
